About This Content This Warband adds the Undead, with 7 new unit types and a fully playable campaign featuring unique Dramatis Personae, Katherina von Dernsbach. On the borders of the Empire, beneath the World's Edge Mountains lies the forsaken province of Sylvania. Long a place of mystery and sinister doings, Sylvania descended into horror during the Black Plague when the necromancer Vanhel raised legions of the dead. Since that time, Sylvania has been a haunted land steeped in the darkest magic. From the ancient castle of Drakenhof, Count Vlad von Carstein rules the county, but his ambition drives him to seek greater power. With the Empire consumed by civil strife, Vlad sees opportunity. The warbands he sends into Mordheim, the wyrdstone they gather for him, are but the first steps in the war the vampire lord will soon wage on his mortal neighbours.VampireAmong the most fearsome creatures that have been drawn to the ruins of Mordheim are the vampires that lead Undead warbands. Ruthless, intelligent and endowed with strength to rival that of an Ogre, they enjoy greater versatility and independence than other undead. They are the Aristocracy of the Night, viewing mortals as either slaves or prey. Their dark powers are dedicated to serving Count Vlad.Initial Weapon Set:•Set 1: Spear & Shield•Set 2: NothingEquipment Proficiency:•Melee: Axe, Dagger, Halberd, Hammer, Mace, Spear, Sword, Two-Handed Axe, Two-Handed Hammer, Two-Handed Sword.•Range: Bow, Longbow, Short bow.•Armours: Helmet, Shield, Light Armour, Heavy Armour.Perks:•Unwavering: Immune to All Alone, Fear, and Terror tests.•Immunity: Poison: Immune to Poison effects.Initial Skills:•Terror: Enemies who engage or start the turn engaged with the user must perform a Terror test. Passing any Terror test will grant immunity to Terror for 2 turns.NecromancerWhen the thirst for power or fear of death twists the mind of a wizard it can lead him to study the black art of necromancy. A necromancer's magic is focused upon two effects: the destruction of life and the usurpation of death. Their spells can wither a warrior in his prime or restore animation to a corpse in its grave. Many of these men have been drawn into the service of the von Carsteins, enjoying the protection of the vampires against the Witch Hunters who would see them destroyed.Initial Weapon Set:•Set 1: Staff•Set 2: NothingEquipment Proficiency:•Melee: Axe, Dagger, Halberd, Hammer, Mace, Spear, Staff, Sword, Two-Handed Axe, Two-Handed Hammer, Two-Handed Sword. •Range: Bow, Longbow, Short bow.•Armours: Helmet, Shield, Light Armour, Heavy Armour.Perks:•Arcane spellcaster: Allows the casting of Arcane spells. These thralls are newly-made undead, drained of life by the vampire to which they are devoted. Although lacking the full extent of their sire's powers, a thrall is a formidable fighter with a strength and agility few mortals can match.Initial Weapon Set:•Set 1: Halberd•Set 2: N/AEquipment Proficiency:•Melee: Axe, Dagger, Halberd, Hammer, Mace, Spear, Sword, Two-Handed Axe, Two-Handed Hammer, Two-Handed Sword. •Range: Bow, Longbow, Short bow.•Armours: Helmet, Shield, Light Armour, Heavy Armour.Perks:•Unwavering: Immune to All Alone, Fear, and Terror tests.•Immunity: Poison: Immune to Poison effects.Initial skills:Fear: Enemies who engage or start the turn engaged with the user must perform a Fear test. Rejected and despised, these human dregs eke out a miserable existence at the fringes of civilization. Often these wretches are recruited by vampires, becoming loyal servants in exchange for protection. They guard coffins during the day and venture into settlements where vampires might draw unwanted attention.Initial Weapon Set:•Set 1: Bow•Set 2: Mace & ShieldEquipment Proficiency:•Melee: Axe, Dagger, Halberd, Hammer, Mace, Spear, Sword, Two-Handed Axe, Two-Handed Hammer, Two-Handed Sword.•Range: Bow, Longbow, Short bow.•Armours: Helmet, Shield, Light Armour, Heavy Armour.Perks:•NoneInitial skills:•Humble Servant: Sacrifice 25 wounds. Far larger and stronger than their grave-haunting counterparts, these abominations provoke a supernatural terror in all but the stoutest hearts. The sight of a crypt horror gnawing on old bones while perched upon a tombstone has sent many a mortal screaming into the night.Initial Weapon Set:•Set 1: 2-Handed Hammer•Set 2: N/AEquipment Proficiency:•Melee: Axe, Dagger, Hammer, Mace, Spear, Two-Handed Axe, Two-Handed Hammer.•Range: None.•Armours: None.Perks:•Unwavering: Immune to All Alone, Fear, and Terror tests.•Last stand: Always fights to the death. Failing the test reduces maximum Offense and Strategy Points by 3. The debuff persists until passing a Terror test on turn start. Passing any Terror test will grant immunity to Terror for 2 turns.GhoulGhouls are the descendants of evil and insane men who ate the flesh of the dead. When the lean and hungry times of famine come upon the Old World, the most depraved and destitute took to feasting on corpses to survive. Driven by their unspeakable craving for the meat of their fellow men, these creatures have given up their human life and dwell near graveyards, crypts and tombs, digging up the rotting corpses of the recently buried and consuming the cold flesh with their bare teeth and claws. The destruction of Mordheim attracted many Ghoul clans from the north, and now they have taken up permanent residence in the crypts and cemeteries of the ruined city.Initial Weapon Set:•Set 1: Halberd•Set 2: N/AEquipment Proficiency:•Melee: Axe, Dagger, Hammer, Mace, Spear, Two-Handed Axe, Two-Handed Hammer. •Range: None.•Armours: None.Perks:•Unwavering: Immune to All Alone, Fear, and Terror tests.•Last stand: Always fights to the death. All debuffs are stackable, last 3 turns, and increase Damage received from the spell Rotten Touch by 5%.ZombieThe simplest form of undead that can be created through necromancy, zombies are the reanimated corpses of the recently dead. Without volition of their own, they are automatons that mindlessly follow the will of their creator. They know neither fear nor pain, only obedience.Initial Weapon Set:•Set 1: Sword & Shield•Set 2: N/AEquipment Proficiency:•Melee: Axe, Dagger, Hammer, Mace, Spear, Sword.•Range: None.•Armours: Helmet, Shield.Perks:•Unwavering: Immune to All Alone, Fear, and Terror tests.•Immunity: Poison: Immune to Poison effects.•No talent: Cannot buy the 'Lad's Got Talent' skill.•Expendable: When falling Out of Action, does not lower the Warband's Morale.•Feral: This warrior can't use consumables in combat.Initial skills:•Puppet: The Zombie becomes bound to its master. Ritual ingredients must be paid for in the form of an upkeep. The Zombie will gain experience and will receive four less skill points than regular Henchmen. Failing to perform the ritual for extended periods weakens the bond, causing the Zombie to decay and be destroyed.•Rotten Corpse: The Zombie is immune to Open Wound effects and all injuries except Destroyed (Dead), Severed Arm, Severed Leg, Hand Injury, Full Recovery. If it must roll for Injuries at the end of combat, it has a 20% chance to decay and effectively be destroyed. Every rank of the Zombie reduces this chance by 1%. 7aa9394dea Title: Mordheim: City of the Damned - UndeadGenre: RPG, StrategyDeveloper:Rogue FactorPublisher:Focus Home InteractiveFranchise:WarhammerRelease Date: 25 Oct, 2016 Mordheim: City Of The Damned - Undead Torrent Download [pack] mordheim city of the damned undead gameplay español. mordheim city of the damned undead strategy. mordheim city of the damned undead. mordheim city of the damned undead op. mordheim city of the damned undead review. mordheim city of the damned undead guide. mordheim city of the damned undead build. mordheim city of the damned undead fr. mordheim city of the damned undead story missions. mordheim city of the damned – undead – reloaded. mordheim city of the damned undead español. mordheim city of the damned undead campaign walkthrough. mordheim city of the damned undead gameplay. mordheim city of the damned undead impressive. mordheim city of the damned zombie build. mordheim city of the damned undead heroes. mordheim city of the damned undead act 1-3. mordheim city of the damned undead campaign. mordheim city of the damned undead download. mordheim city of the damned undead spells. mordheim city of the damned undead warband build. mordheim city of the damned undead act 1-1. mordheim city of the damned undead units. mordheim city of the damned undead warband So far, so great. This warband feels really unique in their play style, and has been a blast to play with.. I approve. Undead are needed in this game.So far I have only fought against them in Campaign. Ouch! That Vampire "Terror" passive really hurts when your henchmen fail the Fear test = they cant attack! Still, I was able to win twice so far.Kind of disappointed in what the big guy looks like, thought he would be cooler looking.Good to get on sale.. Pros:-Fresh new warband to explore-Unique undead synergies-Powerful combo potential-Poison Wind Globadier is semi-OP in this warbandCons:-Zombies are relatively underpowered-Internal synergy aspect is lost in mirror matches-Zombie movement rangeOverall: So I like to gripe about the zombies because I love using them and hate the aspects of them that are uniquely balanced. Their roll-for-injury chance only has a few usually-bad options, with a higher chance of just being dead. And they move slowly. But they're cheap, and a swarm of them together is actually a problem with their death stench abilities and immunity to poison effects (poison globe ftw). That said, I love this warband. It's got a variety of units who, despite not really having that many unique abilities, are all fairly versatile in what they can do. Most hero units can fill a ranged role when needed, without being crappy in melee, and the captain is only slightly worse than the Reikland captain in terms of raw martial power, but with other abilities to give him the advantage.Mirror matches are fairly boring, unfortunately. All the unique synergies that turn Mordheim into a tactics festival go out the window, and it becomes a waiting game to see who slaps who into submission first. I realize it's unavoidable, but I feel it more with this warband than most others.Regardless, it's fun, it's tactically engaging, and the units are all well built and balanced. Even the zombies.Bottom Line: Recommended. Take advantage of the zombie's natural toughness and standard issue shield to form a solid front line. Next combo the undead poison immunity with a globadier hero for some punishing AoE damage that stacks up quickly on enemies who like to gang up. Then use your vampires and globadier to attack with ranged weapons to provide support for your zombies or to take advantage of chokepoints.I'm particularly enjoying this warband and finding it easier to discover synergies between units. Haven't played through more than the first story mission, but it was fairly interesting. Quite different from the usual maps.. Great warband. Not only do the models look really awesome (moreso in armor) they also have some great new mechanics and synergies between the differant warband members. Only Unit I am not sold on is the Impressive but the rest is great. And be honest, who doesn't want to stalk around Mordheim as a Vampire?. This is a strong and very solid warband, with a very well done campaign (particularly if you're big into immersion\/Lore)I like it immensely, especially with it's variable ways to construct solid warbands. The only downside. The big downside. My Sigmar it's a big downside.Zombie movement range will have you absolutely annoyed the first few battles. After that, you remember that they're zombies and you eventually settle that bottomless rage as you watch your zombies lumber on to the objective.. Very gritty and difficult, bad decisions are punnished and consistantly bad tactics are permanent death. The game is challanging and rewarding but you must have an inner strength that accepts setbacks as part of the danger that is Mordheim.9\/10, get this game if you love turn based combat, individual character development and a real challange.. Excellent warband. Easilly the best yet unlike the disappointing Witchunters. There are some cringeworthy errors in the audio description for the campaign but the variation Undead bring to warband construction means that if you own and play Mordheim then you should have this good value DLC.. So far, so awesome >:^} Great job with this iconic warband, and nice timing as well. Obviously some changes have to be made from the original game (zombies can gain experience?!) to fit this format, but that's to be expected. The ghouls look great -- don't forget to check out their extra skin colors (dark is my favorite)! The armor and weapons for the vampire are perfect, too -- love the classic halberd! A little more customization would be nice, especially with the zombie head -- some should still have their jaws intact, after all.[Edit: Either I missed it, or they added it, but you can indeed have an intact zombie head, which is always nice :)]Overall, fantastic job Kes and crew, the game really needed the undead to balance things out. Now that the original warbands are all included in Mordheim, I'm hoping it will soon be time for you guys to head down to ... the Underhive.... I like this DLC, it completed the core Mordheim warband roster from tabletop days, however, the cosmetic options are a little lazy and rough round the edges; for instance, there is only one zombie helmet model, which has an axe sticking out of it; a little odd that all four armoured zombies in my band have an axehead sticking out of their helmet in the exact same place. The Vampire thralls have a lot of redundant cosmetic option slots in their clothing that seem to serve little purpose.Like the Witch Hunters DLC this too suffers from lack of variant face textures for heroes.Overall the warband is fun to play with; I'm not one to comment on balance, but they seem a strong faction. I'd say I cautiously recommend this if only for completions sake, but Focus sorely need to neaten up these DLC's before presenting them.
